Hello to you, lovely reader.
Thank you for reading and musing on my musings.
I appreciate very much the comments, emails and messages I get from kind folk like you who take a few minutes every so often to read my blog.
It makes writing much more enjoyable, knowing that someone actually reads what I write.
This is a short message of sunny disconnect to say that there will be blogging silence for the rest of August.
We are on holiday, celebrating a number of milestones as a family. And after what has turned out to be a quite intense few months for a number of reasons, I am switching both brain and computer off for the rest of the month.
There is much you can catch up with on here, if you are so inclined.
Maybe looking at what you need to detach from, or taking stock of what is and is not within your control. Perhaps this is a good opportunity to consider transitions and ending well, or how you make decisions.
Or maybe, like the Penguins in the Wall, this is just a chance to play and have some fun. I live near them, and love to see their latest adventures. If you are in the West End of Glasgow for any reason, do pop and see the @GlasgowPenguins down by the Kelvin, in the wall near the flint mill.
They will bring a little cheery summer joy to your day.
I wish you happy, restful and sunny times for yourself – whether actually sunny or simply a sunny, empty-of-work outlook.
See you in September.
